Ketamine – Psychotherapy – Brain stimulation
The international conference Ketamine – Psychotherapy – Brain Stimulation aims to bring these methods together, inform interested colleagues about the current state of research, and demonstrate practical applications.
Several internationally acclaimed speakers have been confirmed.
There will be specialist lectures and exercises in small groups, including self-experience using the methods described.
The lectures will be bilingual (English will be translated into German and vice versa). The small group events will be offered in both English and German.
The event is held in cooperation with the Psychedelia-Stiftung and is recognized as continuing education by the State Medical Association, and CME credits have been requested.

Elegibility
Only physicians and psychotherapists may participate in ketamine-assisted self-experience groups. A medical examination will determine final eligibility.
Fees
- Standard fee: €1,300 (includes one small group; additional small group: €400 maximum two groups per participant)
- Day pass: 190€
- Day pass with self awareness group: 580€
Inclusions: Fees include coffee breaks and a light finger food lunch buffet.
Important: Additional self experience groups must be booked separately; the base participation fee does not automatically grant entry to more than one group. A maximum of two small groups can be booked per person.

Sophie-Charlotte Alice Adler, M.Sc., is a psychologist, hypnotherapist, and systemic psychotherapist in training, specializing in therapeutic work with altered states of consciousness. In 2018, she developed ketamine-assisted hypnotherapy (KAH) and offers training, supervision, and counseling on ketamine-assisted therapies. Dilek Aslaner is a licensed psychotherapist, psychologist, B.Sc., and clinical psychologist and psychotherapist M.Sc. As a licensed psychotherapist with experience in outpatient and inpatient settings, she works primarily with behavioral therapy and is responsible for brain stimulation procedures, rTMS, and neurofeedback at our practice in Frankfurt.
Marina Barbadillo is a licensed psychotherapist, psychologist, B.Sc., and clinical psychologist and psychotherapist M.Sc. As a licensed psychotherapist with experience in outpatient and inpatient settings, she works primarily with behavioral therapy and is responsible for brain stimulation procedures, rTMS, and neurofeedback at our practice in Frankfurt.
Evelyne Bischof-Wörner has been working since 2014 independently as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, and since 2024 as a psychotherapist (depth psychology) in her own practices in Frankfurt/Main. She greatly values ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as a catalyst for therapeutic processes and emotional stabilization.
Dorothée Bölling is a licensed psychological psychotherapist, depth psychotherapist, and trauma therapist (EMDR). She has fifteen years of professional experience in her own practice in Germany and southern France, as well as in private psychosomatic clinics specializing in trauma-related disorders.
Francieli Favarim is a Clinical Psychologist and Psychedelic Therapist from Berlin, She is the Strategic Programs Manager – Facilitation and Development at Psychedelia-Stiftung
Anja Frank is a doctoral candidate in the FEEL research project at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, which is developing virtual parental counseling using AI and extended reality. Since 2024, she has been training to become a licensed systemic psychotherapist. Previously, she earned two master’s degrees in clinical psychology with a focus on neuroscience and early childhood education research. She gained professional experience as a psychologist and research assistant in a private psychosomatic practice, among other positions. She also completed further training in neurofeedback, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and hypnotherapy and has published several specialist articles.
Prof. Dr. Leonina Gina Kaestle studied psychology in Munich and Stockton (California, USA) and earned her doctorate on the topic of personality traits in identical and fraternal twins. She runs her own practice for psychotherapy for adults, children, and adolescents and is the author of several successful self-help books. As the founder and director of the Imago Institute, she offers training courses for personal development. She is also a supervisor and lecturer at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, Department of Social Work, where she is responsible for counseling methods and the certification course in animal-assisted therapy and education. In addition, she conducts training and coaching for executives.
Dr. med. Johann Kornowski is a fifth-year resident at the Department of Gynecology at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, with a clinical focus on conservative oncology (research group: brain metastases in breast cancer). He also heads the special consultation hour for patients with chronic pelvic pain syndrome and is involved in research there. Since this spring, he has also been undergoing further training in behavioral therapy.
At the same time, he works once a week at Prof. Michael Stark’s institute in Hamburg, where he administers ketamine in a psychotherapeutic context under delegation, an experience that greatly enriches his understanding of integrative therapy approaches.
Dr. med. Thorsten Lueckeis a specialist in anesthesiology and surgery and is Chief Physician of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at Franziskus Hospital in Linz am Rhein, where he also heads the Pain Center. He is also Vice President of the German Society for Pain Medicine.
Dr. Silvana De Lorenzo completed her scientific and academic training at the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Barcelona in the field of neurophysiological basic research and neuroplasticity and has more than 20 years of experience. She is passionate about knowledge of the nervous system, cellular signaling mechanisms, and applied techniques for inducing neuromodulation. She is currently working with Dr. Mario Scheib on his synergistic concept of synaptic plasticity in the field of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
Dr. Vladislav Matrenitsky, Ph.D., is the founder and director of the Expio Center for Psychotherapy, Psychosomatics, and Psychedelic Medicine in Ukraine—the first specialized institution for psychosocial cancer care and ketamine therapy in the country. He holds a doctorate in the physiology and molecular biology of stress in old age and is a qualified transpersonal psychotherapist. His focus is on psychosomatics and psycho-oncology. Co-founder of the Ukrainian Psychedelic Research Association (UPRA). Author of the book “Carcinogenic Mind. Psychosomatic mechanisms of cancer”.
Dr. Susanne Maus is a specialist in physical and rehabilitative medicine with many years of experience in neurological, geriatric, and pulmonary rehabilitation. She is currently senior physician in pulmonary early rehabilitation at the Lung Clinic in Neustadt.
In addition to her clinical work, she conducts research in the field of transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), including the treatment of post-COVID syndrome. She works closely with Dr. Mario Scheib on innovative concepts for synaptic plasticity and neuromodulation.
She also works as a traffic medicine expert and honorary physician. Her doctoral thesis dealt with the use of rTMS to improve hand motor function after stroke (cum laude, 2014).
Julia Nürnberger has a Master in clinical psychology and is a researcher at the University of Amsterdam. She also has a Master in Forensic Psychology and Gender and Sexuality specialization. Lately she has joined the team at Practice Dr. Scheib, Frankfurt

Dr. Amir Reza Bahadori (MD) is a physician and neuroscientist specializing in neuromodulation, particularly deep brain stimulation and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). His current research focuses on the therapeutic application of TMS in neuropsychiatric disorders such as anorexia nervosa. He is a senior scientist at the Iranian Center of Neurological Research at Tehran University of Medical Science and was previously a researcher at the Research Center for Neuromodulation and Pain in Shiraz.
Dr. med. Mario Scheib is a specialist in psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. He heads a training institute for psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy in Mallorca, where more than 20,000 doctors have now been trained in basic psychosomatic care. He developed the concept of multimodal intensive psychosomatic therapy, on the basis of which he has been establishing therapy centers in Palma de Mallorca for over ten years—and later also in Germany and Andalusia.
Prof. Dr. Walter Martin is Director of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Jena University Hospital. He earned his doctorate in the neurobiology of psychiatric disorders and conducts research at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics. With over 280 publications, his work focuses on functional connectivity in depression and the neurophysiological processing of positive stimuli.
Dr. Orit Yaar is an experienced Jungian analyst with nearly four decades of clinical experience. She is a lecturer and supervisor at the Israeli Institute for Analytical Psychology and at the School of Psychotherapy at Bar-Ilan University.
Dr. Yaar is a certified lecturer and trainer in KAP (ketamine-assisted psychotherapy) and has completed the corresponding certification program at Fluence, USA. Her extensive background combines classical Jungian approaches with innovative therapeutic methods, bringing a unique perspective to modern psychotherapeutic practice.
With nearly forty years of experience in clinical analysis, Dr. Yaar continues to actively contribute to the advancement of the field through teaching, supervision, and her own therapeutic practice.
Thomas Feiner is the founder and director of the Institute for EEG Neurofeedback (IFEN) in Munich and is one of the pioneers of neurofeedback application in German-speaking countries. As a QEEG diplomat and certified neurofeedback trainer (BCIA), he has been training medical professionals in EEG-based procedures for over 15 years. His focus is on the application of quantitative EEG (QEEG), event-related potentials (ERPs), and the integration of neuromodulatory techniques such as photobiomodulation to promote neuroplasticity and cognitive performance.
He will give a lecture on the topic: Neuroplasticity in light: Transcranial photobiomodulation as a bridge between neurofeedback, psychotherapy, and clinical practice.
