The Instituto Dr Scheib was established in Majorca over 20 years ago by Dr Mario Scheib, and today boasts a comprehensive international team of experienced consultants and psychotherapists specialising in intensive, personalised short-term therapy.
The success of our integrated approach can be attributed to the fact that we are always up to speed with the latest medical technology, as well as to our many years of extensive experience.
The Instituto Dr. Scheib is located in the premises of the old private clinic Clinica Luz in Palma. The Clinica is on the edge from the villa area of Palma Son Armadans, next to the forrest and the approach to Castillo Belver. We offer a very particular ambience for stationary patients: From the rooms with balconies you have a great view over the harbor and Palma, the nursing staff is multilingual and we also provide gastronomically a clear distance to the usual hospital catering. And, of course, it is also guaranteed that the care is provided by german-speaking doctors in all relevant fields of expertise in the Clinica Luz.
Treatment usually lasts less than three weeks. We offer in-patient, day clinic and out-patient treatment, depending on the severity of the symptoms. We guarantee total discretion. We work exclusively with daily individual therapy sessions, frequently several times a day, and generally with two different therapists. Using a combination of different relaxation techniques, such as neurofeedback, hypnosis, autogenic training, physiotherapy, innovative medication treatment and individual sport and exercise therapy with your own coach, your personal success is assured.
Our patient surveys reflect a high level of satisfaction, with stable results over many years. However, if you ever need it, we are happy to carry out psychotherapy with you online.
Since 2020, we have also been offering our ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for depression and our other treatments in Germany. At all our locations, we are able to arrange short-term appointments for psychotherapy, ketamine infusions, rTMS and all other treatments.
