A relaxation method in which the patient learns to influence his autonomic nervous system itself. Here ideas and internal images lead to autonomic changes that can be achieved, by conditioning after a period of practicing, within minutes. It can take a few months to learn the method – during our usual short therapies only the basics are learned; at home the exercises must be continued.

The method is suitable for the treatment of sleep disorders, pain, hypertension, anxiety and anything mediated by the autonomic nervous system’s symptoms. It improves body awareness. A combination with biofeedback or hypnosis is possible.
