The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a program developed by the molecularbiologist Jon Kabat-Zinn in the late 1978 in the USA. The objective of the program is to reduce stress through aimed conduction of awareness and through developing, training and stabilizing of broadened mindfulness. Certain parts of the program are applied in different psycho-therapeutic methods such as in behavioral and psychodynamic therapy.
